Tapioca Masala/ Kerala Kappa Masala / Maravazhi Kizhangu Recipe:

Delicious Kerala Kappa Masala Recipe...


Ingredients:


  1. Tapioca / Kappa / Maravazhi kizhangu - 1 cup
  2. Shallots - 10 - 15 pcs
  3. Red Chilly - 3 Finely chopped
  4. Green Chilly -3  Finely chopped
  5. Grated Coconut- 1/2 cup
  6. Mustrad seeds /Urad dal  - 1/2tsp
  7. Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
  8. Oil - 3 tsp
  9. Few Curry Leaves
  10. Salt to Taste

Method:

Take all the Ingredients

Cut the tapioca into small pieces

Boil the Tapioca with salt and turmeric till it becomes soft

Remove the tapioca, from the water and smash it well

Like this

Heat oil in kadai, Splutter mustard seeds then add urad dal, curry leaves, red chilly and green chilly and saute it well

Add the shallots and saute it for a min

Then add the tapioca and mix it well

Saute it for 5 min

Add the grated coconut 

Stir it well and turn off the flame

Delicious Tapioca is ready to serve
