Cauliflower Tandoori & Grilled cauliflower in microwave oven : ( In 2 method )

Cauliflower Tandoori in microwave oven....Let's see step by step pictures....



Ingredients : 

  1. Cauliflower - 1 cup
  2. Red bell pepper - 1/2 cup
  3. Green bell pepper - 1/2 cup
  4. Onion - 1/2 cup  

For marinade :

  1. Yogurt / curd - 1 cup
  2. Cumin powder - 1 tbsp
  3. Garam masala powder -  1 tbsp
  4. Kasthuri methi - 1/4 tsp
  5. Colour powder - pinch
  6. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  7. Salt to taste 
  8. Skewer or tooth picks 

Method :

The Veggies :

  • Chop the onion, bell peppers in square shapes
  • Chop the cauliflower in medium size

Note :

  • Soak the skewer in water for  at-least 1 hour

The marinade :

  1. In a large bowl, take the curd and whisk it till it becomes smooth.
  2. Add ginger garlic paste and all the spice powders with some salt.
  3. Mix the spice powders with the curd.
  4. Add the veggies to the marinade.
  5. Marinate for at-least 1 hour in the refrigerator ( NOTE : Not in freezer)
  6. Remove after 1 hour and bring the marinated veggies at room temperature.
  7. Skewer the veggies alternatively on skewers or tooth picks.
  8. Set the microwave in grilled mode or keep in microwave mode
  9. Place the skewers in grilled rack or in plate.
  10. In microwave mode it took 10 - 15 mins.
  11. In microwave mode, it cook in thick golden brown color.
  12. In grilled mode it took 20 - 25  mins. 
  13. In grilled mode, it cook slightly in black color.
  14. Once its turns the color, remove from the oven.
  15. Serve it hot.
